'A' Rated Auto Warranty Company
- Where can I take my car to be serviced?
Auto Service Protection allows you to take your vehicle anywhere in the U.S. and Canada for repairs. You can go to the dealership or any licensed local repair shop you might prefer. There are also no restrictions on emergency repairs and/or roadside assistance whenever you travel in the U.S. and Canada. And, towing and other roadside assistance services are prepaid.
- Do you offer a financing plan?
Yes. We offer our customers a courtesy financing plan. There is no interest and no fees. We ask for a down-payment of approximately 20% and then we will spread the balance out into 12 equal payments. You have your choice of having us automatically deduct your monthly payment or you can send a check. It’s up to you.
- Can I see a copy of the contract before I buy?
Potential customers have the right to know all of the details of a contract prior to purchasing. A sample copy of the contract should be available. Beware of companies that refuse to provide an actual copy. A good Customer Service Representative should also clearly explain all of the rules regarding wait periods, labor paid for repairs (is there a maximum hourly rate) and other behaviors that might void the customer’s contract. Lastly, be sure to ask specific questions about anything listed in the contract that you do not clearly understand.
- Other companies offered me more time and mileage. Why can't you?
The answer is simple. It's tempting to go for the longest time and most miles, but it may not be the smart decision and here’s why. There is a rule of thumb that all reputable extended warranty companies follow. The rule requires the full-service coverage plans to end, either on the 10th birthday of the vehicle or somewhere around 120,000 total miles. Every reputable company in the country follows this rule. Any company that breaks this basic rule is courting disaster and may not be around when you need them.
- Is wear & tear coverage included?
and what does it mean?
With a basic mechanical breakdown plan, a part must be broken, non-functional or a manufacturers defect in order to be covered. A wear and tear policy (like you find in all of Auto Service Protection’s comprehensive plans) pays for the repair or replacement of any component worn beyond the manufacturer’s tolerances for that vehicle, even if it is not broken. That is quite an advantage.
- Sounds good, how do purchase my warranty?
When you are ready to purchase, just call the office 1-888-418-8231 with the vehicle’s VIN# (usually found on your insurance card) and the exact current mileage.
Then, we'll put together a package for you that will contain two copies of your contract. (One for your records and one for you to sign and return to us.)
